The Tyrone Area YMCA is offering exciting summer programming for area youth, including gymnastics camp, Camp Sun-N-Fun and Tyrone YMCA/WTRN Day at Delgrosso’s Park.
The last chance to register for the summer gymnastics camp is fast approaching. The camp is scheduled to be held August 2-6 and August 9-13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
During the gymnastics camp, kids will enjoy a day filled with gymnastics, crafts and swimming.
The YMCA Camp Sun-N-Fun held at the Bellwood-Antis Community Park and Pool is currently finishing up week five in activities.
Children may still sign up for the last five weeks of camp, or they can sign up on a week-to-week basis.
Also, for those interested in visiting the Bellwood-Antis Pool, it is open throughout the summer Monday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Finally, the Tyrone Area YMCA/WTRN Day at Delgrosso’s Amusement Park is scheduled for Friday, August 6. Organizers are planning for a day filled with food, fun and much more.
Events for the day include: a youth miniature golf tournament, free ride passes for all Tyrone YMCA members, barbecue chicken lunches and dinners, YMCA dance exhibition, YMCA gymnastics exhibition, kids games, karate exhibition, YMCA Day Community Day auction and the second annual Pepsi Miniature Golf Classic.
