The Tyrone baseball game scheduled for Wednesday at Lewistown, was postponed after one-half inning due to several hard rain showers, according to Tyrone Athletic Director Tom Coleman.
Coleman acknowledged that the top half of the first inning was played, before a hard rain caused the game to be halted for 30 minutes.
When that shower was over, the field was made ready to play again, but a second shower hit the Lewistown area and the game was finally postponed to another day.
The date for the remake is in doubt, with the Golden Eagles already playing five games next week and the end of the season rapidly approaching.
