The sixth annual Theme Basket Auction is scheduled for Saturday, October 30 at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 1650 Clay Avenue, Tyrone.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for refreshments and “browsing”. The auction will begin at 7 p.m. with the Reverend Norman Huff as auctioneer.
A variety of baskets will be offered. Come and join in for a fun evening, an opportunity to buy gifts for the upcoming holidays, and a way to support counseling services for area residents in need.
The basket auction will benefit the Tyrone Cluster United Methodist Church Counseling Clinic, which is in its 11th year of operation. The clinic was founded as a ministry to provide professional counseling services for all persons, regardless of church affiliation or economic status.
The counselor is Bill Orlando, a licensed psychologist from State College. The clinic is sponsored by 11 United Methodist churches in the Tyrone, Bald Eagle, Bellwood, Tipton and Spruce Creek areas.

Clients do not need to be members of the United Methodist Church, or any church, to receive counseling services that are provided by a licensed psychologist.
