The Bellwood-Antis girls volleyball team won for the 11th straight time, downing Mount Union at home in three straight games.
The Lady Blue Devils won 25-18, 25-14 and 25-17 to improve their season record to 16-1 with only today’s match at home against Tyrone remaining on the regular season schedule.
Lauren Carter led the Bellwood-Antis girls with 15 service points, including two aces, two blocks, three kills and four digs. Katie Palmer 12 service points and one block. Haley Crider nine service points, including a pair of aces, two kills and one dig. Stephanie Hatch scored seven points and had six blocks and four kills.
The Bellwood-Antis junior varsity also raised their record to 16-1 with a two-games-to-none win over the Lady Trojan Jayvees. The Lady Blue Devils won 25-8 and 25-18, with six service points, including five aces and five assists by Lauren Leap.
The Thursday match at Bellwood against Tyrone will begin with the junior varsity match at 6 p.m. in the B-A Senior High gym
