Jeannette K. O’Rourke, 69, of 2088 Pennington Rd., Warriors Mark, died unexpectedly at her home on February 13, 2005.
She was born February 15, 1935 in Tyrone, the daughter of the late Frances (Templeton) Kessinger and Frank I. Kessinger.
On March 5, 1955 at Warriors Mark United Methodist Church she was married by Elwood Blair to John (Jack) O’Rourke, who survives her.
Also surviving are one daughter and three sons, Amy J. Patton of Warriors Mark; Robert S. and wife Tracy of Tyrone; Jon T. and wife Cindy of Tyrone; Charles F. and wife Melanie of Warriors Mark; seven grandchildren: Amber, Jimmy, Brittney, Courtney, Ashley, Jacob and Taylor; one sister, Patricia L. Delozier of Tyrone; one sister-in-law, Shirley Kessinger of Tyrone.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Mrs. O’Rourke was a member of the Warriors Mark United Methodist Church. She had been employed at Murata Erie Tech., State College from which she retired from in 1990.
Funeral services will be held February 16, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Warriors Mark United Methodist Church with Pastor Peggy Bonsell officiating. Place of burial is Burket Cemetery, Warriors Mark Township.
Friends will be received at the Bruce E. Cox Funeral Home, Warriors Mark, on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Warriors Mark United Methodist Church, 1840 Centreline Rd., Warriors Mark, PA 16877.
