The Tyrone boys swim team fell to undefeated Hollidaysburg in the pool at Hollidaysburg on Monday night. The Tigers (14-0) limited Eagle swimmers to just one individual first place while placing two teams in the top three of each of the three relays in knocking off Tyrone 106-64.
Tyrone freshman Ethan Nulton was the only Golden Eagle swimmer to crack the Hollidaysburg sweep with a timing of 2:19.05 to win the 200 individual medley. Chris Bradigan was second in the 50 freestyle, Eric Nulton was second in the 100 freestyle, Matt Elder was second in the 500 freestyle and Ethan Nulton was second in the 100 backstroke.
Sam Dinger (200 freestyle, 500 freestyle), Frank Kopriva (100 freestyle, 100 backstroke) and David Glunt (100 butterfly, 50 freestyle) were double winners for Hollidaysburg.
The Tyrone girls also dropped a 122-42 decision to the once-beaten Lady Tiger swimmers (13-1).
Paige Black was the only individual winner for the Tyrone girls with a victory in the 50 freestyle.
Leah Cherry was second in the 200 freestyle, Kassie Markel was the runnerup to Black in the 50 free, Zoe Yeaton placed second in the 100 butterfly and Black was second in the 100 freestyle.
Megan Devore won both the 200 individual medley and 100 butterfly for the Hollidaysburg girls.
