The Tyrone Hospital Development Council will celebrate their fifth anniversary Golf Tournament and Outing at the Sinking Valley Country Club on August 24.
The event will have two shotgun starts available on a first come, first serve basis. Morning registration is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. with an 8:15 tee-off time.
Afternoon registration begins at 11:30 a.m. with a 12:15 tee-off time. Format for the tournament is a best ball-four man scramble with a shotgun start.
Entry fee for the event includes 18 holes of golf, cart rental, all day barbecue, prizes and prize opportunities at select holes.
The event will be held rain or shine.
New this year there will be a barbecue and silent auction from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The cost is $20 per person, non-golfers can purchase tickets to enjoy the all-day barbecue buffet. Individuals may come to eat and while there they can cruise the silent auction and bid as they wish.
There are also several sponsorship opportunities available.
Corporate sponsorship, for a cost of $1,500, includes banner signage at the course, fee for a team of four and pre-tournament publicity.
Course sponsorship at $750 includes banner signage at the course and fee for a team of four.
Tee/Green sponsor and four person teams cost $300.
Commitments for corporate sponsorship must be received by July 1 to receive all pre-tournament publicity.
The mission of the Tyrone Hospital Development Council is to stimulate the development of a community supportive of the healing mission of Tyrone Hospital. This will be accomplished through volunteer leadership, gifting programs, publicity events and materials of the Development Council.
