State police investigated a criminal trespass case which happened last month in Snyder Township.
Police said two 19-year-old suspects, Chad Morrissey of Tyrone and Nicole R. Lindsley of Dingmans Ferry, entered the Tyrone Auto Salvage Yard when they knew they weren’t allowed to be on the property. The incident happened on May 29 at 8:30 p.m.

State police report someone drove a moving truck across a inch-and-a-quarter hose that Bellwood Borough employees were using to flush the water lines.
The incident happened on June 14 between 10:15 and 10:30 a.m. in the Miller’s Trailer Court on Stadium Drive in Antis Township.
When the truck went over the hose, a coupling was damaged, causing it to separate. The hose then began whipping around and hit a trailer belonging to 69-year-old John Lester Laird.
The skirting around the trailer was damaged.

A hit-and-run accident happened in Antis Township on June 16 at 1:30 a.m.
An unidentified vehicle was traveling north on Bellmeade Drive when the driver attempted to make a right turn onto Alpine Road. The driver failed to negotiate the turn and struck a private split rail fence.
Police said the driver then fled the scene.

An Indiana County man was arrested on DUI charges after an incident on Interstate 99 in Snyder Township, shortly before midnight on June 18.
Peter James Kurst, 24, of Blairsville, was stopped for a traffic violation and was found to be under the influence of alcohol. Kurst was committed to Blair County Prison in lieu of $4,000 bail.

A two-vehicle accident led to minor injuries at a busy intersection in Antis Township on June 19, shortly after midnight.
Nineteen-year-old Matthew Cannon of Baltimore, MD was eastbound on State Route 865 when he failed to stop at a red light at the intersection of 865 and old Route 220.
A vehicle driven by 69-year-old Patricia Alley was northbound on old 220 and was unable to avoid colliding with Cannon’s vehicle.
Cannon was not wearing a seat belt and suffered minor injuries. Alley was wearing her belt and also suffered minor injuries. She was taken to the hospital by EMS for treatment of those injuries.
State police were assisted at the scene by Bellwood’s Excelsior Fire Department.

A 40-year-old Tyrone woman escaped injury after her vehicle struck a deer on Interstate 99 South, near Altoona’s 17th Street exit.
Charlene A. Holzer was wearing her seat belt during the June 19th accident. Her SUV had moderate damage.
