Tyrone Hospital and ProCare Health Systems, Inc. are pleased to welcome Shelley Hanczar, licensed occupational therapist in the new “Partnership for Better Health” between Tyrone Hospital and ProCare Health Systems.
Hanczar has been an occupational therapist for 30 years, recently joining ProCare in its partnership initiatives with Tyrone Hospital.
“I am excited about the new programs and plans for expanding therapy and related services both inside Tyrone Hospital as well as out in the community,” said Hanczar. “As a resident of Tyrone, I feel I have a responsibility to stay on the top of my field and to bring new and beneficial programs to my community.”
Tyrone Hospital and ProCare Health Systems, Inc. are also pleased to announce Tim Skarada as the managing physical therapist in the new “Partnership for Better Health”.
Skarada has been a physical therapist for nine years with the last eight being at ProCare in Roaring Spring where he served as the clinical director.
“My hometown is Tipton. I’m thrilled to be coming back to my old stomping ground to give back to the area where I grew up,” said Skarada. “Whether we\’re old friends or new acquaintances, please feel free to call me for any of your therapy, wellness or sports medicine needs.”
ProCare is Central PA’s largest provider of physical therapy, occupational therapy, athletic training and fitness facilities. With its “one-on-one” approach to treatment, ProCare is now serving patients and members at over 12 locations in Central PA.
