The Bellwood-Antis junior high girls basketball team traveled to Mount Union on Thursday afternoon.
The Lady Blue Devils dropped a 36-22 decision to Mount Union in the first game of the second cycle of the Juniata Valley Junior High League.
Jenna Nevling led the B-A girls, who have dropped three in a row and six of their last eight games with seven points and Alycia Hippo added four points.
Katrina Woods was the leading scorer for Mount Union (6-7), outscoring the entire Bellwood-Antis team with a game-high 24 points, and Linda Bookwalter added nine.
Bellwood-Antis (5-7) will host Claysburg-Kimmel at the B-A Middle School Gymnasium on Monday with tip-off set for 4 p.m.
