The Bellwood-Antis girls volleyball team continued their season-long run over MAC opponents, by steam rolling Mount Union in three straight games to run their record to 17-0.
The Lady Blue Devils won 25-12, 25-20 and 25-14 to add to their impressive streak of 51 straight games won.
Lauren Carter led the Lady Blue Devils of second-year coach Stephanie Burner with four service points, including three aces, and added 15 kills and seven blocks. Haley Crider added 10 service points, including three aces, four blocks, and five digs and Chelsea Wilson had a game-best 16 service points along with six kills and four blocks. Nicole Ross added four service points.
The Bellwood-Antis junior varsity improved their record to 16-1 by trimming Mount Union’s jayvees, 25-17 and 25.
Bellwood-Antis concludes their regular season today by traveling to Altoona to play Bishop Guilfoyle High School on the Lady Marauders’ Pleasant Valley Boulevard nets.
