Eugene W. Houser, 71, of Bellwood died Saturday evening December 24, 2005 at Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Hospital Campus.
He was born in Bellwood, a son of the late Daniel Webster and Marian L. (Cramer) Houser. He married B. Marlene Welch on April 14, 1953 at Olivet Baptist Church, Bellwood.
Mr. Houser is survived by his wife; a son, Robin E. Houser and wife, Vickie of Bellwood; a daughter, Karen J. Kustaborder and husband Kevin of Bellwood; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters: C. Louise Donlan and husband Bob of Hollidaysburg and Judy C. Rarick of Augusta, MI.
He was preceded in death by daughters: Cleo E. Young on July 23, 2000 and Kelley J. Greene on November 12, 2002; an infant grandson, Shane R. Young in 1973 and a sister Alice C. Houser.
Mr. Houser retired as an assembly line technician at Lumax Corp., Altoona.
He was a member of New Life Assembly of God, Altoona.
Mr. Houser enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He also enjoyed sports.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at the Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 29, 2005 at the funeral home with Pastor William Royce officiating.
Interment at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township.
