Thomas O’Brien, M.D., obstetrician and gynecologist at the Women’s Health Center of Tyrone is welcoming the New Year with special recognition extended to the first three babies he delivers in 2006.
“I wanted to do something special and fun for my patients to let them know how much they are appreciated,” said Dr. O’Brien.
The first three patients of Dr. O’Brien’s who have their baby in 2006 will receive flowers along with a gift for their newborn.
Leah Marie Moffet was the first baby Dr. O’Brien delivered in 2006. Her parents are Ramona and Robert Moffet of Alexandria. Leah was born at Tyrone Hospital on January 4, 2006 at 3:53 p.m., and weighed 7 pounds and 4.4 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. Leah is the Moffet’s fifth child. She has siblings ages 21, 19, 17 and 15.
Dr. O’ Brien presented Leah and her parents with a travel lite folding bouncer seat with a musical toy bar.
