A hit-and-run incident occurred on Moser Road in Antis Township between 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 29 and 7 p.m. on Jan. 30.
Police said an unknown vehicle drove through several yards and struck and damaged a mailbox. The investigation is continuing.

A firearm was stolen from a Halifax man on Jan. 30 between 3 and 6:30 a.m. along Fredrick Street in Tipton, Antis Township.
Police said someone took a backpack that belonged to Mark Dennis Taylor. A Smith and Wesson Model 629, 44 Magnum handgun with a scope was inside the backpack. The thief fled the scene undetected.

A three-vehicle accident on State Route 764 near Bellmeade Drive in Antis Township on Jan. 30 at 5:20 p.m. left several people with minor injuries.
State police said three vehicles were traveling north on the road when one of the vehicles began to slow for traffic that was stopped for a red light at the intersection.
Seventy-five-year-old Mark Baker of Tyrone began to slow down after seeing the vehicle operated by 33-year-old Jody Weimer of RR 7, Altoona slow down for traffic.
Thirty-one-year-old Christina Fink noticed Baker slowing down and also started to slow her vehicle but took her eyes off the road. Fink then looked back up and the car driven by Baker was going slower than she thought. Fink applied her brakes but was unable to avoid hitting Baker’s vehicle. Fink’s vehicle pushed Baker’s vehicle into Weimer’s vehicle.
All three vehicles came to rest near the point of impact.
Fink, Baker and Weimer were all wearing a seat belt and had minor injuries. A passenger in Weimer’s car, 33-year-old Amy Weimer, was also wearing a seat belt and had minor injuries. Police said two other passengers, a 13-year-old boy and an 11-year-old girl, suffered minor injuries and were transported to Altoona Regional Medical Center. Both were wearing seat belts.
Pinecroft Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene. Bellwood and AMED provided transportation of the injured.

Police are looking into a theft at the Dillen Industrial Park, off of River Road in Antis Township that happened between 5 a.m. on Jan. 30 and 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 31.
The incident occurred when an unknown person entered a vehicle owned by 23-year-old Martin Eugene Monahan while it was parked at the Industrial Park.
Police said they are looking at a surveillance tape to identify a suspect. The investigation is continuing.
