Tyrone native, Larrie A. (Kullan) Derman II left his hometown of Tyrone four years ago and headed to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the arts.
In those four years, he has met and mingled with a lot of interesting people, including numerous celebrities. Besides writing lyrics and music for songs, he has found oil painting to be his forte.
He has been fortunate enough to become good friends with Sylvester Stewart, better known as Sly Stone of “Sly and the Family Stone”. They were a popular rock band from the 60s through the 80s. The good news is that Sly and his “Family” are making a come-back.

Larrie (Kullan) is the son of Larrie and Sherry Derman of Tyrone. He has a sister, Debbie who lives in Arlington, VA.
