Pennsylvania Attorney General Tom Corbett, Blair County DA Richard Consiglio and Blair County Drug Task Force officials have announced that a drug raid was conducted earlier today in the Tyrone and Altoona areas.
The brief press release from the Attorney General’s office said about 50 law enforcement officers were briefed at the Tyrone National Guard Armory prior to beginning the process of arresting numerous officers.
Suspects were being brought to the National Guard Armory for processing and were to be arraigned before District Judge Fred Miller.
A press conference regarding the raid was scheduled for just past The Herald’s press deadline.
