Carey Russell Garman Sr., age 80, of 617 Stadium Drive, Apt. 105, Bellwood, died Sunday at 2:26 p.m. in Frankstown Twp. as a result of an automobile accident.
He was born October 18, 1925 in Pinecroft, a son of Alfred F. and Pearl M. (Weierick) Garman.
He was married to Mary Lou Speacht, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Garman was retired as a farmer, enjoyed traveling to Belleville, yard sales and gardening.
He is survived by a daughter, Robin Kim Garosi of Hershey; a son, Carey R. Jr. of Tyrone; a step-daughter, Alice LaCount of Petersburg; sisters: Jeanette McCaulley of Bellwood, Clara Worley of Pinecroft, Goldie Urlich of Laurel Hill, N.C. and Sue Weller of Dade City, Fla.; a brother, Bob Garman of Tyrone; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a companion of 26 years, Ivie Manbeck.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10 at the Vincent J. Good Funeral Parlor in Bellwood.
Interment at Antis Cemetery.
