Gene H. Pollock, 66, of 309 W. 12th St., Tyrone, died Monday morning at Moran’s Home in Bellwood.
He was born January 30, 1940 in Philipsburg, a son of the late Menno Jay and Ellen Mae (Stroup) Pollock.
He was married April 19, 1957 to Mary Ann Zeek.
He is survived by his wife and two sons: Jeffrey Pollock (Jacqueline) of Tyrone and Jerry Pollock (Sandra) of Altoona; four grandchildren: Daniel, Carrie, Michael and Allison; a sister Connie L. Cruthers (Richard) of Altoona; a brother, Jay E. Pollock of Petersburg; his mother-in-law Sara M. Zeek of Tyrone and brother-in-law Raymond Zeek (Suzanne) of Birmingham.
He was a graduate of Tyrone Area High School in 1957, was a member of Tyrone B.P.O.E. No. 212 and the Hookies Fire Company.
He was employed for 32 years at the F & F Drycleaners, Tyrone, then at Condrin Cadillac and Nelson’s Chevrolet.
