The Tyrone Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Golf Classic is scheduled for Thursday, September 21 at the Sinking Valley Country Club.
Events begin at 11 a.m. with registration and lunch. At 12:30 p.m., there will be a shotgun start with a four person scramble. Prizes and snacks will then be available after the tournament.
Registration deadline is September 8.
Team fee for a foursome is $400, and an individual golfer is $125.
The golf package includes 18 holes of golf, cart, course refreshments and snacks, lunch provided by Hoss’s Steak & Seafood House and a golf shirt and golf balls.
Also, skill prizes will be awarded, and there will be door prizes.
The Tyrone Area Chamber is also encouraging people to “get on the green as a sponsor.”
Corporate sponsorships are $1,000 and includes four golfers, corporate sponsorship logo on a golf shirt, hole sponsor and recognition including the opportunity to display a banner at the tournament.
Supporting sponsorships are $500 to $950 and includes two golfers, hole sponsorship, recognition at the event and promotional advertising.
Friendly sponsorships are $150 to $450 and includes a hole sponsor, recognition at the event and promotional advertising.
Hole sponsorships are available for $100 and include the name of your business on one of the 18 holes to be played during the tournament. Golfers will have a chance to win a great prize by identifying all the hole sponsors.
Hole-in-one sponsors are also being sought. It is a chance to place a car, cash, a vacation, etc. at three different challenging holes. Door prizes, giveaways or products are also appreciated.
RSVP to the Chamber by August 18 if you want to participate as a sponsor.
