Sarah E. Moore, 95, of Sandy Ridge died Thursday, July 27, 2006 at 1:30 a.m. at Mt. Laurel Nursing and Rehab Ctr., Clearfield.
She was born July 7, 1911 in Osceola Mills, the daughter of the late Lewis M. and Frances (Weste) Arnold.
In 1930, in Cumberland, Md. she married Earl D. Moore, who preceded her in death on December 8, 1989.
She is survived by sons: Charles E. Moore of Philipsburg, Robert E. Moore and his wife Ruby of Kent, Wa. and Delbert L. Moore and his wife Mary of Philipsburg; 13 grandchildren: Cindy Smith, Charles Moore, John Moore, Mark Moore, Bill Moore, Deborah Kremmer, Jeffrey Moore, Susan Moore, William Moore, James Moore, Sharon Moore, Richard Moore and Patty Moore; 29 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and one sister, Daisy Burns of Philipsburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Richard I. Moore; five sisters: Lena Thomas, Catherine Troxell, Elizabeth Flick, Rose Wilson and Mary Woods and four brothers: William Arnold, Julius Arnold, Andrew Arnold and Arthur Arnold.
Mrs. Moore was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Sandy Ridge. She was a homemaker.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 1 at 10 a.m. at Heath Funeral Home, Osceola Mills with Rev. Mark Thumma. Visitation will be Monday, July 31, 2006 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Place of burial is Umbria Cemetery, Osceola Mills.
