Irene M. Emberton, 69, of Port Matilda, died Sunday, September 3, 2006 at 11:05 p.m. at Olivia Village, Vail.
She was born February 2, 1937 in Port Matilda, a daughter of the late Blair and Martha (Lucas) Stine. On January 31, 1965 in State College, she married William T. Emberton. He died September 26, 1994.
Surviving is a daughter Tammy Jo Howard of Harrisburg, three grandchildren, a great-grandchild and a sister, Lucille Williams of Philipsburg. She was preceded in death by a brother, Luther.
Mrs. Emberton had been employed at the former Robbies Diner, Port Matilda. She attended Port Matilda Baptist Church.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment at Black Oak Cemetery.
