Snyder supervisors held a special meeting Friday night to adopt the township’s 2007 budget.
Supervisors approved the final budget reflecting: real estate tax for general purposes of eight mills, fire protection tax of three mills, real estate transfer tax of one percent, earned income tax of 1/2 percent (for residents), per capita tax of $10 per year, occupational privilege tax of $10 per year and a 41 cent per hour across the board pay rate increase for each township employee.
The township will hold its reorganization meeting on Tuesday, January 2 at 7 p.m. at the municipal building. The regular township meeting will follow.
