The Bellwood Sheetz was the victim of retail theft on Christmas Day.
April Weatherwalk, age 23, of RD 2 Tyrone, was cited for allegedly driving off without paying for $33 worth of gas.
Charges were filed with Magisterial District Judge Fred Miller.

A white female drove off without paying for $5 worth of gas.
The investigation continues.

Hollidaysburg State Police report a case of criminal trespass at White Oak School in Sinking Valley, Tyrone Township sometime between January 14 and 15.
Unknown persons broke a window to the Amish school and entered doing no damage and taking nothing. Actor(s) fled in an unknown direction.
There is approximately $20 worth of damage.

A Tyrone woman was arrested for DUI on January 16.
Jessica Wertz, age 27, of Tyrone, was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of I-99. According to the police report, she nearly struck a PA State Police cruiser causing the troopers inside to take evasive maneuvers. Wertz continued southbound in the northbound lanes and nearly struck a northbound tractor trailer. She was eventually stopped by the troopers and was found to be extremely intoxicated.
Wertz failed field sobriety tests and was arrested for DUI. She was taken to Tyrone Hospital for blood testing. Wertz had a blood alcohol level over triple the legal limit. Charges were filed with Magisterial District Judge Fred Miller.
The investigation is ongoing.

SR 4023 in Tipton, Antis Township was the scene of a burglary sometime between January 15 and 16.
Unknown actor(s) entered a shed on the property of Lynn D’Angelo through unlocked doors. Once inside the shed, the actor(s) damaged a soccer goalies net and a Troy Built riding lawn mower. The actor(s) removed a chain saw and part of a croquet set from the shed. The actor(s) fled the scene undetected.

Martin’s Food Store in Bellmeade Antis Township was the scene of an incident of terroristic threats.
The victim, Joseph Russo Jr., age 37 of Altoona, was walking across the parking lot and came into contact with a male known to him. Russo and the male became engaged in a verbal confrontation while in the parking lot. During the confrontation, the other male made a statement to Russo about going home and getting a gun then coming back and taking care of Russo. The other male then got into his truck and backed it up, running over Russo’s right foot. The investigation continues.
