The next couple of months are packed with activities at First Assembly of God Church in Tyrone.
First and foremost, February brings this year’s spring mission convention. Each evening, beginning February 25 and lasting through February 28, missionary speakers from around the world will visit the church and share their stories.
On the schedule Sunday, February 25 is Jeff Book and his wife Carol, China, at 6:30 p.m. Todd and Heidi LaBute, Asia Pacific Theological Seminary, will speak at 6:30 p.m. Monday, February 26. On Tuesday, February 27 Fred and Betty Howsare, Asia Pacific, will join church members and guests at 6:30 p.m. Finally, on Wednesday, February 28 a banquet will be held beginning at 6 p.m. with special guests Fred and Crystal Kovach, Global University.
Other events in February include Ladies Breakfast at Joe’s Place on Saturday, February 10 at 9 a.m. Breakfast isn’t just for the men at First Assembly, so ladies can join together in fellowship and order off the menu or the breakfast buffet.
Also for the ladies, a Women’s Ministries meeting will be held Thursday, February 15 at 6:30 p.m.
Looking ahead to March, the Men’s Breakfast at Joe’s Place will be held Saturday March 10 at 8 a.m. On Sunday March 11, Missionary Jack Belin will visit during morning worship. Then, on Sunday, March 25, an Olde Fashioned Hymn Sing is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.
Also remember, morning prayer is held every Tuesday morning at 10:15 a.m., Bible study and prayer is held each Wednesday at 7 p.m. along with Friends Club and Youth.
So make sure to mark you calendars and take advantage of the many upcoming activities offered at First Assembly of God, Tyrone.
