A. Jane Smith, 87, of Tipton, died Saturday evening, February 10, 2007 at Epworth Manor, Tyrone.
She was born November 9, 1919, in Altoona, a daughter of the late Joseph and Kathryn (Helsor) Zeigler. She married Levi W. “Woody” Smith on May 18, 1937 in Cumberland, MD. He died on January 28, 1998.
Jane is survived by a daughter: Kathy J. George and husband Clifford of Tyrone RD5; grandchildren: Butch, Lori and Craig and eight great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Bellwood.
Jane enjoyed crocheting.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 16 at the Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 17, 2007 at the funeral home with Rev. Thomas Maatta officiating.
Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township.
