‘A Big Way to Fill Little Shoes’ sale from BBBS

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Blair County will host “A Big Way to Fill Little Shoes” Sale on April 12, 13 and 14 at the Station Medical Center, (formerly the Station Mall).
The sale will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. all three days. One thousand pair of brand new shoes and boots were donated to the local organization from a shoe company in Houtzdale. Everything from steel-toed work boots, dress shoes, to sneakers will be available. Brand name shoes include: WORX, Dickies, Wolverine, Timberlands, Reboks, and Carolina’s to name a few.
These shoes and boots are valued at $125 – $150. All shoes must go and are being sold at the phenomenal price of $20 a pair. All proceeds go to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Blair County and the 200+ children they serve.
Executive Director, Karen Kelley, was ecstatic at the donation, and stated, “This is a sale no one should pass up! The shoes are brand new – at a phenomenal price.”
Big Brothers Big Sisters lucked into a deal and want to pass the savings on to everyone. One hundred percent of the proceeds stay at the local organization to help continue the services, programs, and positive youth activities for all local children.
Sale hours will be Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, April 12 – 14 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. or until all of the shoes are gone.
