It’s sign-up time for the Tyrone Church of the Brethren’s second annual Summer Praise Program, where participants will learn to sing fun, modern praises to God while helping fight drug abuse in the community.
There is a cost. All proceeds go directly to the Tyrone Police Department’s anti-drug efforts. All faiths are welcome to join.
Children currently in grades K-5 meet on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and children in grades 6-12 meet Wednesdays from 6 to 7 p.m.
Rehearsals begin the first week of June, so please sign up by May 31.
The program will conclude with a concert for the community on Sunday, August 26.
Any business or company that would like to make a donation will be recognized for their support with an advertisement in the final concert program.
