Mr. Anthony Paul Serago, age 27, a guest at Verland Foundation, Sewickley, died Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. at Heritage Valley Hospital, Sewickley.
He was born in Jeanette, PA on September 25, 1979, the son of Kenneth Serago and Marsha (Woodring) Thomas. He is survived by his father, Kenneth and wife Cindi Serago of Ohio and his mother, Marsha, wife of James Thomas, of Arizona. Also surviving is one brother Gene Johnson of Arizona, three sisters, Cherie Mazutis, Cheryl Homerosky and Carrie Shankus, all of Pennsylvania; grandparents Michael and Laura Serago of Jeanette, uncle Paul and wife Kathy Serago of Delmont, aunt Michele, wife of Dan Romano of Greensburg, aunt Lynn, wife of Michael Butler of Jeanette and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents Chester and Louise Woodring and uncle Thomas Woodring, all of Tyrone, PA.
Anthony had attended Sunrise School, Sewickley, PA.
Friends may call at the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home Inc., 1032 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Additional calling hours will be held at the Graziano Funeral Home Inc., 228 North 2nd Street, Jeanette, PA on Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. when a funeral service will be held. A funeral service and committal will be held Sunday, May 27, at 2 p.m. at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood, Blair County, PA with Pastor Tim Tangen officiating. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to Susan Voll, Donna Johnson, and the staff of the Verland Foundation.
