Mr. Jack A. Musser, age 81, of 634 West 16th Street, Tyrone died Friday, June 1, 2007 at his residence. He was born November 27, 1925 in Tyrone, the son of Fred S. and Naomi Harris Musser. On July 31, 1973 in Bedford he was married to Shirley Tipton who survives. Mr. Musser was the last of his immediate family, having been preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church of the Good Shepherd. He was a graduate of Tyrone High School Class of 1944 and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He had been employed as a store manager for the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, retiring in 1983 as a store manager.
Funeral service for Jack A. Musser will be Monday, June 4, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc. with Pastor Andrew T. Bradley officiating. Private interment will be in Blair Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday for one hour prior to the service.
