A burglary incident occurred along North 3rd Street in Antis Township, between June 7 and June 8.
Hollidaysburg State Police report that at some point in the overnight hours, someone entered a garage owned by Cheryl Whiteford and stole a case of Bud Light Beer.

An incident of underage drinking and a drug law violation occurred in the parking lot of the former Bellemeade Inn in Antis Township.
Hollidaysburg State Police report that when responding to the above location following a complaint about some suspicious vehicles, the initial investigation revealed the drug law violations and underage consumption and possession violations. During the course of the on-scene investigation, Tyler F. Elvey, age 18, of RD 1 Altoona was found to have falsely implicated another person as the source of the seized beer. Police seized a total of 85 cans of beer on their possession. Follow-up investigation revealed the true identity of the person who supplied the beer.
Those who had charges filed against them were Tyler Elvey, age 18, false reports to police and underage drinking charges; a 17-year-old male from Altoona, underage drinking charges; a 16-year-old male from Altoona, drug law violation due to a possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia; and Frederick William Elvey, age 36, of RD 1 Altoona, furnishing alcohol to minors charge.
All charges have been filed and the cases will proceed via summons.

An incident of criminal mischief occurred outside a residence at 260 Meade Street in Snyder Township, June 8.
Hollidaysburg State Police report that a 2007 Toyota sedan belonging to Enterprise Rent-A-Car of Pittsburgh was parked at the above location. Unknown actor(s) damaged the driver side rear view mirror to the vehicle.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Hollidaysburg State Police.

A one vehicle accident occurred along North 4th Street at North Cambria Street in Antis Township, June 8.
Hollidaysburg State Police report that Bret Daniel Nimitz of Bellwood was traveling west on North Cambria Street at an apparent high rate of speed. Nimitz lost control of his vehicle and traveled across the opposing lane of travel and struck an embankment.
After striking the embankment the vehicle went airborne and struck a tree head on. After striking the first tree the vehicle then rotated and struck another tree with the passenger side coming to rest against the tree.
The operator was transported from the scene by Bellwood Ambulance to Altoona Regional Health System where he was treated for injuries.
Alcohol is believed to have been a factor in this crash.

A hit and run accident occurred in the parking lot of DelGrosso’s Park in Tipton, Antis Township, June 9.
Hollidaysburg State Police report that unknown actor(s) sideswiped a Dodge Caravan, owned by Beverly Hetrick of Altoona when it was parked in the office parking lot.

An incident involving drug possession occurred at a residence along Old Route 220 in Snyder Township, June 10.
Hollidaysburg State Police report that family members of Gretchen Illig, age 23, of Tyrone found prescription pills, a packet of heroin, and a needle on her possession. They took the drugs from her and called police to report the incident.
Illig was charged with possession.

A D.U.I. incident occurred along SR 1008 on Skelp Mountain in Tyrone Township, June 10.
Hollidaysburg State Police report that Scott Carl Evans, age 24, of Tyrone was stopped for numerous traffic violations and eventually taken into custody to determine his B.A.C. for D.U.I. charges.

A stolen vehicle was recovered along I-99 in Antis Township, June 11.
A 2001 Ford Mustang Convertible was discovered unattended on the above roadway. When police checked out the vehicle they revealed it was reported stolen from Fayette County.
This is pending further investigation.
