On October 10, the Tyrone Area FFA competed in the Blair Co. Land Judging Contest held at the Baker’s Farm Market in Hollidaysburg. The team earned fourth place overall, and the top five individuals from Tyrone Area High School were from first to fifth: Denis Thompson, Andrew Clark, Mike DelBaggio, Jon Hoffman and Jessie Wheeland. Students received a tour and demonstration at the Blair County Compost site. Students also got a chance to pose for a photo inside one of the judging pits.
