The Tyrone Hospital medical staff donated $500 to the Tyrone Area Food Bank. The Tyrone Area Food Bank welcomes both monetary and food donations at any time of the year. Examples of food items needed include wide noodles, can soups (especially cream soups, tomato soup and vegetable soup), all types of canned vegetables such as peas, corn, green beans, mixed vegetables and tomatoes, spaghetti sauce, hamburger helper mixes, canned pork and beans, hot and cold cereal and all types of canned fruit.
