The Tyrone Community Players (TCP) are presenting The Pajama Game Friday and Saturday, March 28 and 29, 2008 in the Tyrone Area High School auditorium.
The two-act musical comedy deals with labor troubles in a pajama factory, where worker demands for a seven-and-a-half cent raise are going unheeded. Love blossoms right in the middle of all the labor issues bringing a different level of issues to the bargaining table!
Auditions for this show will be held at the TCP Building, 1019 Logan Avenue, Tyrone, Sunday and Monday, January 6 and 7, 2008 at 7 p.m. nightly.
Anyone interested should be prepared to sing to the accompanist on hand and also read from the script.
Ryan Decker is directing the show that features familiar music like “Steam Heat” and “Hernando’s Hideaway” to name a few. The show offers parts for eight men and seven women.
With questions about the show and/or any of the parts available, call 684-ART2.
