Ethel V. Igou of Tyrone, formerly of Bellwood, died Friday evening, December 28, 2007 at Tyrone Hospital.
She was born in Tyrone, a daughter of the late Joseph T. and Frances E. (Wilson) Van Allman. She married Eugene W. “Birdie” Igou on August 28, 1956 in Winchester, Va. He preceded her in death on July 20, 2007.
Surviving are a daughter: Margie A. Frye of Tyrone; grandchildren: Danny Thomas and Terry Thomas; three great-grandchildren: Danny, Gerrad and Tori Thomas.
She was the last of her immediate family of 15 children.
Ethel enjoyed spending time with her family.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing, visitation or funeral services.
Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
