Lois Largent Stewart, age 92, died Thursday at Country Meadows, Hampden Twp.
She was born Feb. 7, 1916 in Tyrone, a daughter of William W. and Jennie McMurtrie Largent; and was a graduate of Tyrone High School and Altoona Business School.
Lois was a member of Baughman Memorial United Methodist Church, New Cumberland; New Cumberland Senior Citizens and was an accomplished seamstress. For many years, she was the receptionist for the late Dr. Rudolph Beale, of Lemoyne.
She was the widow of Joseph E. Stewart.
Surviving are two sons, Richard E. Stewart and wife, Kaye, of New Cumberland and William J. Stewart and wife, Nora, of Lemoyne; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert R. Largent, of Altoona.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday in her church, with the Rev. Brand Eaton officiating. Viewing will be one hour prior to services Monday in the church. Burial and committal services will be at noon Tuesday in Eastlawn Cemetery, Tyrone.
