Brittany Lee Emery, 19, of 5 E. 16th St., Tyrone, died Sunday, July 27, 2008 at the Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Hospital Campus.
She was born September 7, 1988 in Tyrone, the daughter of Stacey K. (Emery) Sellers and Richard E. Reader, Jr.
She is survived by her parents of Tyrone, a step-father, Christian Sharer of RD 3, Tyrone.
A daughter Mattison Rhoades and boyfriend Matthew Rhoades of Tyrone.
Her grandparents, Tom and Faye Gates of Tyrone, Richard Reader, Sr. of Glasgow and the late April Reese, and Mona Sharer of Bald Eagle.
Great-grandparents, Doris Reese of Northwood and the late Harry Reese.
Her brothers and sisters: Cassandra Sharer, Megan Emery, Justin Reader, Richard M. Reader, Aric Reader and Carmen Sharer.
There are one niece and one nephew, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was a graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School in 2007 and enjoyed television, Burger King, walking and country music.
She was employed as a Nurses Aide at Epworth Manor for the past year.
Friends will be received at the Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at noon with Rev. Michele Somerville officiating.
