Tressa L. (Campbell) Woomer, 57, of Bedford, formerly of Bellwood, died Saturday evening, July 19, 2008 at her home.
She was born November 20, 1950 in Reightown, Antis Township, a daughter of the late Roy W. and Dorothy I. (Myers) Campbell. She married Malcolm L. Woomer, Jr. who died in 1997.
Surviving are a daughter: Melinda Sue “Mindy” Dye with whom she resided; three grandchildren: Christina, Dustin and Kasey; great grandson: Wyatt; brothers: James W. Campbell of Tyrone, Paul E. Campbell of Huntingdon and Alfred Eugene Myers of Altoona; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by sisters: Barbara Sible and Lois Wagner and a brother: Lester L. Campbell.
Tressa was employed at the Bedford County Courthouse in the Housekeeping/Maintenance Department.
She enjoyed sewing and quilting.
Friends will be received from noon until the 2 p.m. funeral service Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood with Rev. Steven Burns officiating.
