A special treat

The PA Pre-K Counts K3 classrooms at the Tyrone Elementary School learned about food and nutrition this month. As part of their food theme, Chef Rocky Miller visited Mrs. Raabe and Mrs. Miller’s classrooms to make pizzas with the kids. Chef Rocky works at Penn State University and dazzled the students with his pizza tossing abilities. TASD provides free, high-quality preschool programs to over 50 three-year-old children in the community as a result of the PA Pre-K Counts grant. (Courtesy photo)
