Proceeds from the tournament will be used to help pay for a renovation project that will make improvements to areas of Tyrone Hospital that are the first point of contact for patients. A minimum of $40,000 is needed for the renovation project.
Areas targeted for improvement include the triage area of the emergency room (ER), where patients are first evaluated when they visit the ER for treatment and the patient registration area, which will be redesigned to offer greater privacy for patients.
