Traffic crash
On March 10, state police reported Amy Hoff, 32, Tyrone was traveling north on Thompsontown Rd. when she drove off onto the east berm to avoid a car traveling in the opposite direction. When Hoff drove off the roadway, the tires of her vehicle sunk in the soft and muddy berm, causing her to lose control of the vehicle. Hoff’s vehicle then ran off the roadway and rolled over. The other vehicle did not stop. Hoff was wearing her seat belt and suffered minor injuries.

PFA violation
State police reported on March 10 that Adam Lynn Gardner, 31, Tyrone was arrested for violating a PFA order when he had contact with Andora Kay Gardner, 31, Tyrone. The incident occurred along SR 865, Smith Acres, in Antis Twp.

Criminal mischief
State police reported on March 11 at Woodland Manor Townhouses in Antis Twp., Brandon Williams of Tyrone had been at one of the apartments owned by Marjorie Johnson, RD 5, Tyrone, and Williams was asked to leave. Williams became hostile and while being escorted off the property, he broke a door and screen door at the apartment. Several hundred dollars worth of damage was reported.

Fell asleep with pipe
On March 11, state police reported Justin Keller, 23, Altoona was sleeping in his vehicle in the parking lot across from 7 D’s Truss Company in Antis Twp. When the officer approached the vehicle, it was noticed that Keller had a marijuana pipe laying on his lap while he was asleep. A search of the vehicle netted a small amount of marijuana. Investigation pending lab results.

DUI
On March 12, state police had another run in with Justin Keller, 23, Altoona. Keller was stopped for a traffic violation along SR 99 from 17th St. to Bellwood Exit. Keller was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence. Investigation is also pending lab results.
