Christmas donation to Salvation Army

Miller Auto Parts & Supply Co. Inc., located at 120 W. 10th Street, Tyrone, recently donated a five-foot Christmas stocking filled with toys to the Tyrone Salvation Army Service Unit. Salvation Army volunteer chairperson Bob Maser said the toys for the kids came at a perfect time as the Salvation Army is preparing Christmas baskets for area families in need. The Salvation Army reminds those who signed up for Christmas baskets that they will be given out December 20 and 21 at Faces & Places Ministry, 954 Logan Avenue, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Shown with the stocking is Miller Auto Parts manager Ed Walter and Salvation Army volunteer chairperson Bob Maser.
