ProCare Health Systems offers wellness classes

ProCare Health Systems, partners with Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, is now offering wellness classes for September.
“Eat Well for Life I” begins September 19 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the rehabilitation department. This is a 4-week lifestyle improvement program promoting wellness and long-term weight management through balanced nutrition. Participants will obtain the knowledge necessary to make healthful food choices and will be encouraged to adopt the nutrition practices necessary to achieve a balanced lifestyle and long-term weight management. Also, “Clear the Air”, is a one-session tobacco cessation education program to help prepare individuals to quit tobacco, when they are ready. Throughout the two-hour session, Clear the Air will provide participants with the tools and resources necessary to help them get prepared, take action, stay motivated, and quit tobacco for good. Class will be held September 24 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the rehabilitation department. Call 684-6309 to register.
Both programs are free to Highmark insurance members and a nominal fee for others.
