Diary from football camp

Today is the first day we actually had to go hard because we had to reset the clock, which means we had to start practice completely over on teams, so we had to go offense twice, pretty much.
People are starting to really come up to fill the holes from the starters we lost to graduation from last year. The tight ends are having some trouble right now, we are trying to find a second tight end. Ben Ingle is really stepping up now for us, he just got moved there today and he’s filling the position nicely. Our line is coming through too after the first couple days of practice.
It feels really nice to be a senior. It was weird at first, but now I feel like I’m taking a leadership role pretty well.
If I could only play one side of the line of scrimmage, I would play offense. As a wide receiver, I like to get the ball and make plays.
My buddy is Shane Walker. It’s really good, we get to eat lunch together and I’m learning a lot about him. He is only a sophomore, and I’m trying to help him out the best I can.
The Tyrone/Bellwood game is the greatest rivalry around in central Pennsylvania, I guarantee. I’m just looking forward to just going out and playing the hardest I can. It’s my last year and I’m going to go out and give it everything I have.
