‘Burn’ festival scheduled for tomorrow at Church of the Good Shepherd

Members of Bald Eagle United Methodist Church and The Church of the Good Shepherd have been working hard over the past months to put together a Christian festival so area churches, Christian organizations and residents can come together to celebrate their faith.
The two churches are sponsoring the event, “Burn: A Festival Igniting Hearts for God” which will be held tomorrow from 4 to 8 p.m. at The Church of the Good Shepherd, behind the Tyrone football field.
Admission to this Christian festival is free.
Free contemporary Christian music will also be provided by “Praise Unplugged” from the Bald Eagle UM Church and “ONE Heart” from Church of the Good Shepherd.
There will be various booths set up by area churches, as well as other Christian organizations. The booths will have food, crafts, games and face painting.
Those attending are asked to bring along a blanket or lawn chair so they may sit and enjoy the music.
Those with booths set up are encouraged to bring along information about their church/organization, as well as pictures.
It is the hope of organizers that “we as the body of Christ can work together to do what we are called to do and minister to the public.”
