Antique Keeper now open

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held yesterday morning at Antique Keeper on Pennsylvania Avenue. A soft opening was held and a grand opening is planned in two weeks. Also planned for late August is the opening of the Antique Annex located on 10th Street. Plans for the Annex include various vendors coming together in one building. Plans to feature Amish-made furniture are also in the works. Besides vendors, classes in restoration, photography and art are planned. Future endeavors also include consignment and appraisals. In short, there are many ideas and programs owners Suzanne Lawley and Frances Crews hope to bring to the downtown Tyrone area. One thing the new business hopes to bring is a lot of shoppers from out of town. Everyone is invited to stop by and see what Antique Keeper has to offer.
