Organizers are seeking participants for Tyrone Memorial Day Parade

Some members of the community are looking for interested groups to participate in Tyrone’s Memorial Day Parade.
The parade will be held on Saturday, May 26 at 11 a.m.
This is the first time since 2003 that the Tyrone community will be having a Memorial Day Parade. So far, the parade will include various Cub Scout Packs, Boy Scout Troops, Fire Companies, honor guard from the Tyrone American Legion and VFW, the Tyrone Armory, Dover Millionaires and possibly some twirling groups.
Organizers got a late start this year, but these individuals plan on having a much larger parade next year.
Everyone is encouraged to come out and enjoy what will once again become an annual event.
If anyone would like to participate in this year’s Memorial Day Parade, contact Tim Kirkpatrick at 684-0704 or 321-6120.
