Family Health and Safety Fair scheduled at B-A Public Library

A free Family Health and Safety Fair will be held at the Bellwood-Antis Public Library on March 10.
The event will begin at 10 a.m. and last until noon.
Local agencies will be on site to provide families with information to help both young and old gain knowledge to lead healthier and safer lives.
Altoona Regional will provide information baby-sitting classes, as well as on CPR and First Aid.
The Bellwood Lions Club will provide vision screenings and second-hand smoke information will be distributed by BREATHE.
Blair County Communities That Care will hand out pocket first aid kits and the Blair County Respiratory Disease Society will provide information on Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).
Other participants and information will include the American Red Cross, HealthSouth, Family Literacy, GED class information, T.O.P.S., The Hope Center, The Door, AARP 55 Alive, Bellwood Ambulance Association, Excelsior Fire Company, Andrea’s School of Dance, nutrition and diabetes information, blood pressure screenings and information on living a gluten-free life.
There will be activities for individuals of all ages, as well as free prizes.
Everyone is invited to come and learn how to enhance the safety of their family and home.
