Tyrone Hospital welcomes new physician

Tyrone Hospital is pleased to welcome Anthony Zinobile, M.D., board certified family medicine physician, to the hospital’s medical staff. Dr. Zinobile has joined Tyrone Hospital as an emergency room physician.
A native of Pennsylvania, Dr. Zinobile comes to Tyrone Hospital from the Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of the School of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He also completed a residency in family practice at the Washington Hospital in Washington, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Zinobile has more than twenty years of experience as an emergency room physician. His past experience includes positions at hospital emergency rooms in both Pennsylvania and Florida.
In addition to his clinical experience, Dr. Zinobile has also served as an instructor. He is adjunct faculty for the Department of Emergency Medicine at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He also served as office preceptor for residents in the Washington Hospital Family Practice Residency Program and was instructor for the Washington County Emergency Medical Services paramedics.
Dr. Zinobile is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
His professional memberships include the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), American Medical Association (AMA), Pennsylvania Medical Society, and the Washington County Medical Association. He is also certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Health as a Medical Command Physician.
