Antis Township man arrested for distributing child pornography

An Antis Township man, 39-year-old Michael Lynn Miller, was recently arrested for incidents involving child pornography. The incidents occurred between September 20, and November 1, 2006.
According to a release from state police, the accused was arrested for six counts of distribution of child pornography and 50 counts of possession of child pornography.
He was released on $750,000 unsecured bail and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for January 9 at the office of District Magistrate Fred Miller.
An investigation was initiated by a National Center for Missing and Exploited Children Cyber Tip. An AOL screen name had sent child porn via e-mail. The AOL screen name was traced back to the accused residence.
A search warrant was prepared and executed at the residence. Based on an examination of the hard drive from the computer that was seized from the residence, the above charges were filed.
