TASD employees support Tree of Light

Employees of the Tyrone Area School District donated $800 raised via a dress down day held to support the Tyrone Hospital Development Council’s 6th Annual Tree of Light.
Funds raised via the Tree of Light will be used to purchase an upgraded hood for Tyrone Hospital’s pharmacy at an estimated cost of $12,000.
The pharmacy hood creates a germ free environment, a clean room, that is required for the pharmacist to mix antibiotics, IV solutions, intravenous nutrition solutions, and other medications for hospital patients.
Employees of TASD are major contributors to the Tree of Light and have been supporters since its inception.
Tree of Light donation forms are available for pick-up in the main lobby at Tyrone Hospital or by calling the hospital’s marketing office at 684-6348.
